Hello, we just discovered your blog and feel you are doing a great job of posting tequila-related articles. We would like to submit this interview blog that was done about our USDA Certified Organic Tequila Alquimia, 8-time Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Chicago Beverage Testing Institute’s International Review of Spirits. We were also voted #1 tequila by GQ Magazine. Here is the link to the blog: http://latinostate.posterous.com/qanda-with-dr-adolfo-murillo-owner-of-tequila

    Hi

On a couple of trips to Puerto Vallarta I visited (on a tour) an old fashion Tequila Distillery by the name of Don Crispin Tequila. Is that particular brand available in the US? If so where might I purchase it? If not, are there particular reasons or regulations that you are aware of that prevent its sale in the US?

    Many Thanks for your response.

I heard a rumor that Don Crispin went out of business. Not sure if they are back on line, but Grupo Familiar Don Crispin, NOM 1512, is listed as also producing Tributo Tequila. Maybe Don Crispin and Tributo are similar, maybe not. Possibly it would be easier to find a bottle of Tributo and give it a try (if you can’t locate any Don Crispin).
